Edward C. Salasek II

Mr. Salasek, beginning his third year as Headmaster of Ville de Marie Academy, was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Salasek
is a graduate of the Franciscan University of Steubenville and previously taught high school Theology and Composition & Literature at Ville de Marie Academy for
two years. Mr. Salasek is married and has four young children. He is slowly working on his first book, And A Little Child Shall Lead Them...

Nancy Washburn

Mrs. Washburn has been with Ville de Marie Academy as the Administrative Assistant for almost seven years.
She has been involved in administrative work for over twenty-five years. Prior to Ville de Marie Academy, Mrs. Washburn worked for a parish
in Mesa, AZ for fourteen years as the Director of Catechetical Ministry. Mrs. Washburn is married and has four children.

Eileen Hundelt

Eileen Hundelt, one of the founding members of Ville de Marie Academy, is beginning her sixth year teaching
Kindergarten at Ville de Marie Academy. Mrs. Hundelt received the Association Montessori International degree over eight years ago along with her training in
the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for ages three to six. Both of these programs were founded by Dr. Maria Montessori. Mrs. Hundelt also holds a B.S. in Nursing.
She is the mother of 6 children, all of whom have attended or attend Ville de Marie Academy.

Mary Ellen Jakubowski

Mrs. Jakubowski, beginning her sixth year at Ville de Marie Academy, teaches first grade. Mrs. Jakubowski
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Elmhurst College in Illinois. She also holds a Post Baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education from
the University of Phoenix. She is the mother of three children.

Valerie Stagg

Valerie Stagg, entering her fourth year at Ville de Marie Academy, teaches second grade. She holds a B.A. in
Theology and Psychology. Ms. Stagg has been instructing children for over twenty years.

Traci Cristofaro

Traci Cristofaro, entering her thirteenth year at Ville de Marie Academy, teaches third and fourth
grade as well as music and drama. She holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Kristan Jakubczyk
|
 |
Kristan Jakubczyk, beginning her sixth year at Ville de Marie Academy, teaches Calculus and Advanced
Mathematics. Ms. Jakubczyk is the oldest of eleven children. She attended Ville de Marie Academy since it was founded in 1991 and graduated Valedictorian
in 2002. She was accepted into the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University and is currently working towards her teacher certification
for secondary education.

Brandon Hohenberg

Mr. Brandon Hohenberg, beginning his first year at Ville de Marie Academy, is teaching science and physical education in classes ranging from third to twelfth grades.
He attended the Franciscan University in Steubenville OH, where he majored in education emphasizing in math and science, and is now working on his certification in Arizona.
Mr. Hohenberg was active in sports in high school and college and will be helping with Ville de Marie Academy's athletic program.

Cecilia Scheetz

Miss Cecilia Scheetz, beginning her first year at Ville de Marie Academy, teaches 5th and 6th grade.
She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Thomas Aquinas College. Before coming to Ville de Marie, Miss Scheetz taught for two years at
Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy in Anchorage, Alaska.
